CASARÕES HISTÓRICOS DE SÃO CARLOS-SP, BRASIL

Neste fim de semana aconteceu o 18º encontro do grupo Urban Sketchers São Carlos.

Nos reunimos a tarde, na praça Paulino Botelho, centro histórico da cidade. Nela estão prédios de secretarias de governo, prefeitura, comércios e serviços e está na principal via da cidade, a Av. São Carlos.

Nos reunimos à tarde e ficamos durante 3 horas, sorteamos um livro da editora Gustavo Gili sobre como representar o movimento nas artes gráficas e trocamos idéias para o suporte de desenhos para que Urban Sketchers não fiquem sentados no meio fio, dores nas costas a serem evitadas.

Os desenhos postados aqui foram feitos à mão livre, de observação no próprio local.

- Lapiseira Caran d'ache com grafite 2B;

- Caneta a nanquim Mitsubishi UNI PIn 0.7 fine;

- Pincel com cerdas de nylon e reservatório de água Sakura Koi;

- Aquarela Sakura Koi em pastilha;

- Papel Winsor & Newton superfície Media 100lbs/220gsm, tamanho A5.

This weekend was the 18th meeting of the group Urban Sketchers São Carlos.
We meet in the afternoon, in Paulino Botelho square, the historical center of the city. In it are buildings of secretaries of government, city hall, commerce and services and it is in the main road of the city, Av. São Carlos.

We met in the afternoon and stayed for 3 hours, we raffled a book from Gustavo Gili on how to represent the movement in the graphic arts and we exchanged ideas for the support of drawings so that Urban Sketchers do not sit on the curb, back pains to be avoided .

FAZENDA SALTO GRANDE ARARAQUARA-SP, BRASIL

Que fim de semana incrível este dos dias 26 e 27 de Maio de 2018. No post anterior falei sobre o evento “II encontro Internacional de Desenho de Rua” que aconteceu em Araraquara e São Carlos com desenhos da Fazenda do Pinhal, e como foi incrível o dia e o encontro em geral.

No dia seguinte fomos até a Fazenda Salto Grande em Araraquara-SP com a presença ilustre de artistas do Urban Sketchers Araraquara e de artistas de Portugal que vieram especialmente para o encontro.

Como no dia anterior o dia foi muito gostoso, com uma leve brisa, ótimo para desenhar.

O dia claro pediu para que eu procurasse uma sombra no estacionamento da fazenda que antigamente era a área de secagem do café.

A visitação a Fazenda é aberta ao público mas a entrada é controlada por uma portaria com horários específicos. A Fazenda conta com um hotel, restaurante e com diversos passeios. What an incredible weekend this May 26 and 27, 2018.
In the previous post I talked about the event "II International Street Drawing" that took place in Araraquara and São Carlos with drawings from Fazenda do Pinhal, and how amazing the day and the meeting in general.
The next day we went to the Salto Grande Farm in Araraquara-SP with the illustrious presence of artists from Urban Sketchers Araraquara and artists from Portugal who came specially for the meeting.
Like the day before the day was very tasty, with a light breeze, great for drawing.
The clear day asked me to look for a shadow in the parking lot of the farmhouse that used to be the coffee drying area.
The visitation to the Farm is open to the public but the entrance is controlled by a concierge with specific schedules. The farm has a hotel, restaurant and several tours. FAZENDA DO PINHAL EM SÃO CARLOS

Este final de semana e o final de semana passado teve encontro internacional de Urban Sketchers em Araraquara-SP e São Carlos-SP.

O evento chamado de "II Encontro Internacional de Desenho de Rua" foi organizado pelos professores e equipe técnica da UNIARA, pelo artista Lauro Monteiro Filho, e pelo grupo Urban Sketchers de Araraquara.

O arquiteto e ilustrador André Duarte Baptista de Torres Vedras-Portugal, veio junto com outros profissionais e artistas portugueses para participar da semana de Arquitetura da UNIARA, para falar de reabilitação urbana em sua cidade.

Na apresentação que aconteceu no dia 21 de Maio de 2018 no auditório da faculdade, reforçou muito como o desenho a mão é importantíssimo para o registro da paisagem da cidade, para a memória na comunidade, como  ferramenta entre arquitetos e artistas para desenvolver projetos e leituras urbanas.

Neste sábado aconteceu junto ao evento, o encontro do grupo Urban Sketchers de Araraquara e Urban Sketchers de São Carlos, na Fazenda do Pinhal.

O dia amanhaceu super frio e ficou quente ao longo da manhã. Céu limpo com um sol de inverno. Pouco vento. Foi bom desenhar ao som de muitos pássaros e do som das árvores.

Porém fico sempre pensando se faz sentido um grupo de Urban Sketchers (desenhistas urbanos) desenhar paisagens bucólicas de fazendas. Significa que as fazendas são parte da cidade neste mundo contempoâneo? Não existe mundo rural, e tudo é urbano agora? É somente para treinar o desenho de paisagem? 

Enfim, é bom desenhar todas as paisagens criadas pelo homem e lá eu fui gastar um pouco de grafite e tinta sem pudor, junto com os amigos.

André Baptista nos apresentou alguns conceitos de um caderno de percursos urbanos para o registro do dia a dia na cidade através de desenhos.

Falou que o desenho precisa representar alguma característica emocional, conceitual que nos acontece no momento e que deste modo se traduz o espaço de forma gráfica.

Após sua fala percorremos o centro de pesquisa, a senzala, a casa grande e os jardins da Fazenda secular que morava a família fundadora da cidade, e que passa por um processo de restauração junto ao IPHAN, com cordenação de Denize Quinsler e equipe.

A visitação a Fazenda é aberta ao público mas precisa agendar a visita que é guiada por Educadores muito simpáticos e também com um café muito gostoso. O passeio tem o custo de R$ 15,00 por pessoa.

This weekend and last weekend had an international meeting of Urban Sketchers in Araraquara-SP and São Carlos-SP.
The event called "II International Street Design Meeting" was organized by UNIARA's professors and technical team, the artist Lauro Monteiro Filho, and the Urban Sketchers group from Araraquara.
The architect and illustrator André Duarte Baptista de Torres Vedras-Portugal, came along with other Portuguese professionals and artists to participate in UNIARA Architecture Week, to talk about urban rehabilitation in his city.
In the presentation that took place on May 21, 2018 in the college auditorium, he reinforced the importance of handwriting for the recording of the city landscape, for memory in the community, as a tool among architects and artists to develop projects and readings urban
This Saturday was the meeting of the group Urban Sketchers of Araraquara and Urban Sketchers of São Carlos, at Fazenda do Pinhal.
The day was super cold and it got hot in the morning. Clear sky with a winter sun. Little wind. It was good to draw to the sound of many birds and the sound of trees.
But I always wonder if it makes sense for a group of Urban Sketchers (urban designers) to draw bucolic landscapes from farms. Does it mean that farms are part of the city in this contemporary world? There is no rural world, and everything is urban now? Is it just to train the landscape design?
Anyway, it is good to draw all the landscapes created by the man and there I went to spend some graffiti and ink without shame, along with friends.
André Baptista presented us with some concepts of a notebook of urban routes for recording the day to day in the city through drawings.
He said that the drawing must represent some emotional characteristic, conceptual that happens to us at the moment and that in this way the space translates graphically.
After his speech we went through the research center, the senzala, the large house and the gardens of the secular farm that lived the founding family of the city, and that goes through a process of restoration next to the IPHAN, with cordenation of Denize Quinsler and team.
The visitation to the Farm is open to the public but you need to schedule the visit guided by very friendly Educators and also with a very delicious coffee. The tour costs R $ 15,00 per person.
